You're thinking of The Spaniards Inn.

Haven't eaten there for ages. It won an award a couple of years ago for its food I think.

went to the spaniards inn. got off the bus on the wrong side of the heath resulting in a half hour walk and pissed off OH! made it all the more worthwhile coming out of the cold into a pub smelling of mulled wine smile

sunday lunch was ok, i'd give it 7/10 but good value. only gripes were the tiny yorkshire pud [bloody southerners wink ] and the mashed mixed carrot/swede that was vile [personal taste].

couldn't fault the meat and spuds, pudding was great and i sampled quite a few real ales before braving the cold again!
