I was just wondering (in a horribly vulgar way), how much are the dragons, past and present, actually worth individually? Id like to know how much theyre risking.

Bannatyne is worth about 300 mil, Deborah about 35 mil, other than that, no idea!

They're not risking anything, regardless of their net worth because:

1) The TV exposure gives them a high profile for their own businesses;
2) The TV exposure gives them a 'free TV advert' for companies they invest in;
3) They carry out extensive due-diligence on any 'hand shakes', so they can back out if they want to;

As such, it's low risk/high reward regardless of their personal net worth.

I suspect those figures released to the public are massaged by each dragon's accountant. I seriously doubt "I'm out" Bannatyne is worth 310 million, last I heard he's closing his health clubs and casinos down left right n centre.

My preference would be to Peter or Theo to get properly plugged in.
