Probably just nobody wants to drive a car some poor sod as paid a deposit for already and lost it????
This is by NO means discreditive to STR8 SIX as I fully understand they bought that off the liquiditation mass of the bancrupt factory and now have the right to sell it (or do whatever they want with it) and all that- I just state the feeling somebody buying this car may have????

Now thats the question I`d like to hear the answer too.. I suspect somewhere around the £55K mark for a close to original Sagaris but then again from the advert this is a "custom" build so you can get what you want inside it!

Seems to be a good indication that they can source all the parts they require to complete the build...

In have some old factory docs which suggest, that this particular Sagaris was destined to be built to 07 spec ,for stock , and intended to be fitted with aircon, and of course painted Red Bull blue.

Either way, i really hope it gets finished.

TVR owners your prayers have been answered! The engineers that designed the race winning Sagaris LS7 GT3 have already put a LS7 into a new unregistered Sagaris complete with ZR1 6 speed gearbox. Seriously uprated brakes, 19x12 carbon wheels with a suspension package to match complete the package.

They have indicated that they may consider carrying out this upgrade on customer cars that will also include all Tuscans.

Why woul anyone (who is WISE) buy it when the you coul hve and LS7.

An LS7 can make that with a few tweeks - SC stuff just complicate an already very tight install. Godzilla has got 570bhp from his Lingenfelter kit (that was supposed to have well over 600bhp).

I std Sag has relatively speaking BUGGER ALL Torque - the big difference with this swap will be the torque, be it an LS6, LS2 or LS7. Power is all very well but Torque is what REALLY counts. Std Sags had aboy 370bhp from the factory for a good one, but had to be revved to bugger to get them to give the goods).

This will be Mega (have been in a few std Sagand Tuscan S's), 15k miles in an LS6 TVR and a ragged a C6 06.

This will be about 200 - 250kg lighter than a C6 Z06 with alot less frontal area.

Iff you find out let us all know!

But from my experience (and having somone else do it all for you with new parts) it will be way way over 20k just for the drivetrain (I'd gues 25k) - (forget the wheels and brakes in that). But then if anyone is daft enough to buy an Sag for 59k from Dealer at todays prices (with the crap SP6) - they might as well go the whole hog and do it properly!!

But then if you wanted a yank tank you could buy yourself a nice Corvette, import it yourself and pay probably not more than 20 grand...
Its about character here and the character of a Sagaris or any other new TVR is about high revs and nothing else- reliability and more power you could probably get with other options (wilder/racing green conversions)...imo of course
If somebody would shell out 60 grand for a Sagaris he must really want the car- why want a car like this if not for the charakter??? OW plenty of other options for that sort of money
