Felt?

are Felt bikes any good?
i'm considering getting a new bike and the Felt Q220 looks suitable for my needs. i don't need a super expensive bike, just one for commuting on roads and a bit of off road.

in a word, yes. (though i can only speak for the road bikes i cant imagine the off road bikes somehow being utter dross)
wiggle have some good deals on 08 bikes. they are reasonably well specced for the money

my current bike is a GT aggressor but i think ive rode it into the ground pretty much and would cost more than a new bike just to fix it up.

Felt are apparently trying to make a name for themselves and you get more for your money spec wise. Nearly bought a Felt roadie earlier this year (only got a Giant as the Felt was out of stock and they gave me a better Giant at the same price)

looked at a felt a month or so ago. looked great and was well spec'd. it was only the fact that the shop had a demo Scott ransom hugely discounted that i went in that direction.

a friend who posts on here had a try of the felt and was very impressed.

Hes right- I LOVED all three Felts I rode. Really top gear, well built, quick, light and responsive and really good value for money.

It's only the fact that Im broke that stopped me buying one.
