Nobody knows for sure at the moment... seems to be blown out of all proportions.They were asking for US and UK hostages, but there have already been first hand reports that Brits escaped simply by saying they were Italians and Germans... would a British Terrorist have fallen for this?

t, heard on the news that they were blaming Pakistan. I'd have had money on the fact that at least some of them were from the UK or have (had?- thank you Mr 7.62mm) a connection with here.
Of course we'll all now be told by agencies such as the BBC how their actions are condemned by the overwhelming majority of British Muslims. How do they ever know this? All the polls I see suggest that at least a substantial minority of British Muslims have a greater or lesser degree of sympathy for their views. How long as a nation are we prepared to put up with this sort of thing amongst our communities?

I had a discussion at work this afternoon......
Basically i think we are seeing the start of a world wide Jihad. Only a small proportion of the security services work gets coverage.....I see some of the behind the scenes work and it's staggering whats going on.
Over time they will target cities around the world, mainly in the UK and US, but also hitting targets where our citizens are visiting or working.
It's started, the plans have been made and I think that there will be no turning back.
