Tyre suggestions for X-Type 3.0 Sport

Hi,

The time has come to put my hand in my pocket and to put some new tyres on my X-Type 3.0 Sport. I'm hoping for some idea's on what choice I should make. I only do around 6,000 miles a year so tyre wear is not a big issue. Something nice and grippy

I have an S-Type so no help there...but recently I did use BlackCircle online for new tyres as recommended by PH: excellent service and a reasonable price reduction compared to my local tyre agencies. I also had them fitted at home, well worth the £10 for this in my view.

Google Tyre Shopper. They are usualy a bit cheaper than Black Circles and have links to several tyre reviews too.

Kwik Fit often give a 25% discount on premium brand tyres if you buy a set of 4.

If you want really grippy and are not to concncerned about noise or ride quality then maybe Goodyear F1s might be the ones to choose.

Mrs JS has these on her Pug GTI and they give grip and handling that's absolutely unbelievable in the dry.
