Hi Peeps,

My coolant bottle is dead pretty much. It has a crack in it, above the fluid level, but I've got a new one to replace it with. How do I do it? do I need to drain all the coolant first then replace it or just empty the bottle?

It's an s1 111s by the way

thanks for any help

The coolant bottle is just an expansion/header tank, at the highest point in the cooling system, so it shouldn't be necessary to drain down the whole system or to bleed it after you've fitted the new bottle... just replace it and top it up to the correct level with coolant mixture.
