Can the stero be upgraded in an MY06 X-Type?

Hi all,

Hopefully a stupid, but quickly answered question.

I'm getting a 06 x-type on Saturday but really want to be able to use my ipod in it.

It currently has the Satnav and cd similar to this layout :



Is it possible to upgrade the CD to an after market one that I can then just jack my ipod into?

I asked the dealer about connectivity but he said they withdrew the connectivity kit owing to "problems"...
