Griffith Register/Sticky
Discussion
Hello fellow Griff owners,Was wondering why all the other models seem to have a Register/sticky of their cars on their section but none on here?
Dug this up as I remember adding to it way back - could it start as a sticky in this section?
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I don't know how to do it myself so could someone help.
What I do I know is I have the best TVR model

By the way, where does the PH list of TVR owners live on here?
Cheers
John
Before I Do what is peoples opinions on this As I know some forums look very untidy with loads of stickies at the top. Will happily to do if the consensus is a yes...I will sort out so they look better too..more of table format.
I will make this sticky for a few days to gather peoples opinions.
Also in case anyone wasn't aware clicking "This Forum" tab up above next to "My Info" brings up a choice of FAQ's and the Wikis in this forum..this is a great shortcut to finding the Wikis you are looking for.
Cheers

I can't see those tabs you mention BB, probably me being thick again
It's all well and good having this list as of a certain point in time, but they quickly get out of date (See the comment on 9. Alex Gurr or that Jeffsy is still in the list when his Griff is now learning to growl in French) so how would it be kept current?
Perhaps an idea is to have someone to champion the list - and give lazy buggers like me a
for not being on the list

Thanks. Found the Wikis under the "This Forum" tab and the list of all the Tiv owners in the same place in the General TVR stuff and gossip forum. The FAQ's are v. helpful too.
For a while, I just thought that we Griff owners were shy or something - nothing to be shy about, owning the best(design awarded) model and all that

Knowing where to find things is half the issue!
But, the Griff lists are a bit pants compared to say the Cerbs..........

Might be worth asking the mods to check the spelling of Griffith in the title of this thread
Then it will be resolved and I'll look stupid!

Come on Guys do we want these as stickies at the top of this forum or not!!!
Would a poll be better? and more fun.....or will that get abused by other marques...

On the S Forum we setup the bare bones and then got owners to update it themselves - you're welcome to nick anything you find useful on there (at the top of the forum).
Moderator Mark K (PH Kinky) set the Sticky Wiki (!) up initially for us - it would be worth dropping him a PM if you want to do something similar as he can easily copy it across & sticky it etc
We've also put one together for bolts which I can tell you is incredibly useful, and one for useful links.
Again all of these are just updated by forum users - the advantage with a wiki is that if someone screws it up (it happens) the mods can restore the previous version. I'm sure I'm telling you what you already know here.

We don't have any spelling problems on the S Forum
