Had 5 mins in a Farbio today
Discussion
Only a short trip in morning traffic but very impressed...much more like a 3R than an M400...this particular one had the same engine as ours but with a supercharger...too much engine noise in the cabin for my liking...seemed very refined and relaxed, handled bumps and potholes very well...carbon fibre console and door-cards seemed "cold" and "plasticy" for my taste...defo the M12's cousin...
Would I buy one?.....When I was buying it would have been joint favourite with the Noble.

Might be worth looking at the article in todays Sunday Times 'In Gear' supplement.

I don't think you can really call a 0-60 of 3.7 "That Slow"!
Everyone has an opinion on the looks and for me it looks great.. especially in white!
The price?.. well you have to pay to have something fairly exclusive and it's worth what people are prepared to pay for it. I'm sure if you drove one you'd understand.
I did.... The white one is my car.
It's worth every penny and until you a. see it in the flesh and b. drive it, I can appreciate that some people won't get it.
PS In the "Sunday Times" review it comments on the 0-60 seeming faster than 3.7.....is because it is! My car is producing more than the claimed bhp... I'm not complaining!

Congrats Ty. Have you taken delivery yet? If you're in the London area perhaps you could bring it along to the Ace one weekend morning in December for us Nobility to peruse? It's worth every penny and until you a. see it in the flesh and b. drive it, I can appreciate that some people won't get it.

BTW, have you driven a Noble (for comparison purposes)?
It's sitting on my drive right now... I've had it 2 or 3 weeks now and it really is truly wonderful.
Unfortunately I'm not in the London area and because of other commitments (mainly work!) weekends are
a rare commodity.. I'd love for you Noble guys to see it though.. I really think it's what the M15 should have been!
Yes, I've driven a Noble although I ended up going more along the TVR route. As I've said somewhere else on PH essentially it's got the kind of handling that Nobles/Exiges are legendary for but with more of the TVR grunt.
The 400 is a different beast to the 350 that people were talking about earlier on in the thread. The differences aren't just superficial, that extra 20K pays for a lot of extra work under the hood and it really REALLY goes!As you can imagine with cars this light an extra 70 odd BHP makes a LOT of differnce! At the moment mine's the only 400 built but it won't stay that way for long I'm sure. Keeping in mind what I COULD have bought with that money it says a lot that I'm very VERY happy and KNOW that I've done the right thing!
