xmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmasxmas

As the first half of the other thread is not exactly to do with the xmas gathering I am taking it upon myself to start a new thread in order to help proceedings - we only have a week to sort this:

Date: Friday 5th December

Venue: Right then, lets get this sorted - we're only a week away and so choices will probably be limited what withplaces being booked up. I don't really know where to eat in Bournemouth these days so I am going to make a typically convenient suggestion. I think we need to treat ourselves with something a bit more glam than a curry, but nothing too swishy.

So, how about Basillica in Westbourne - there are a few good bars around near the restaurant for pre and post eating drinks and it is only a very short cab ride to B'mouth centre for those wishing to frequent the 'mens clubs' later on!

Of course it will be subject to availability (I can find out) - it looks like there is only a small group so we might be ok.

Attendees (so far):
Mr&Mrs LS
Gooby & Mrs?? (Unconfirmed)
Martyn
Chris 49 & wifelette (just drinks)
fatwomble
Twinpipe
MiniD & OrangeD
Grinnders??

Any more??

Thanks
bossy Mini!

Hi Guys

Right then, table booked for 8.30pm for 8 people. I can probably increase it to 10 if anyone else would like to join in. I will just need to know ASAP so that I can let them know.

In terms of food, they are offering a Christmas menu, but I would need everyone to decide they wish to go with that menu and I will need pre-selection of food before the night.
http://www.basilica.biz/xmasmenu.htm (I think this looks quite nice and you can choose to have just a main course £13.50; 2 courses £17.50; or 3 courses £21.00.

Otherwise it will be just their usual evening menu.
http://www.basilica.biz/evemenu.htm

Please let me know soon...

Please vote: Xmas menu, or Normal Menu

Peeps I think are coming are:
Mr&Mrs LS
Martyn

Twinpipe
MiniD & OrangeD
Grinnders

I'm afraid I can't commit to this at the moment so I'm gonna pull my name from the list.
I will however try and make it down there for a drink.

My really rubbish Internet connection is running so slow tonight that I can't even connect to the web site.

I was going to say normal menu rather than Xmas, have we all got to have the same menu?

Normal preferably... there's a bit more flexibility in the "mix and match" permutations.

Hi Guys, I have spoken to the Just1 and he will be joining us a bit later on in the evening.

You are all more than welcome to bundle around ours from 7.30pm and maybe have a drink or two there, or we can head up to a pub for a couple of swifties!

Mark if you're driving then you're welcome to park at ours.

Let me know whatcha wanna do!

Cheers

Hi Mini,

I'm not sure exactly where you live (Alum Chine) live to work out if that is a better option, than drinking/taxi. You can email me at xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx rather than go public if you wish then I'll confirm one way or another.

Cheers

Thanks

The real question is wether Grinnders will stay past his starter or sneak off early doors?
