ML270cdi which Power steering oil

Anybody know?also anybody know where the filler is?Is is under then near side engine cover?

On my dads ml430 (diff engine i know) its under the engine cover on the nearside, oil i have used on his is Dexron 3 as merc list some strange oil that the dealer doesnt stock!!
I spoke to one of the techs in the workshop who informed me that they alway use Dexron 3 and have never had a problem.
If its low its going somewhere, the bolts that secure the pressure pipes to the rack have a habit of coming loose and is a 2 secound fix to tighten them
