How much is a LS1 engine worth

Still got a spare ls1 lying around and someone wants to buy it for a TVR project but got no idea what its worth in current condition.

Engine is currently complete with clutch, ecu and loom but missing power steering pump, starter, alternator and coil packs. Hoping for as much as possible obviously but wouldn't want to let it go for less than 1500 - does that seem a fair price? If its not worth that then I'd probably just hold on to it and look to use it myself for a rebuild at some point in the future when funds allow.

How about a low mileage LS2 with roller rockers from a vxr8?

Can you split the roller rockers, are they lightweights?
