SE Xperia X1 vs HTC Touch Pro

Hoping someone is familiar with the above and hopefully Vodafone.

I have an HTC Touch Diamond that I have had for a few months but I am struggling with no qwerty keyboard and I do send a lot of emails when out of the office.

My mother is on Vodafone and has an upgrade due but she is happy with her 6100(?) Classic so has said I can have it.

Therefore, it really is down to the two above phones.

It needs to be Windows 6.1 for exchange connectivity, it needs to have GPS for sat nav - I used Tomtom on it.

I text a lot and I email a lot from the phone hence the slide out qwerty being invaluable.

One of my main issues with the diamond is the slooooooow interface, so whichever one was quicker would probably get my vote as I believe they both have GPS/6.1

Is there anything else I need to ask myself/consider before I make a decision?

Im assuming both are available on Vodafone at present and it wont be a problem sticking my current sim card in it and hit the ground running.

take a look at the HTC s740 or the HTC touch pro.

In my opinion the HTC is far superior in terms of its reliability and compability and both of the above phones have the qwerty keyboard feature.
