what % have you got to? when it gets to 50 it's nearly done.

the GT5P downloads are notoriously bad, they usually take three or four attempts, maybe more if the servers are busy.

It will download a little bit more everytime so just keep going, it will get there, but you have to be patient.

If it's a brand new console and game it will take a very long time, the game has evolved so much from specI

I always have trouble with the GT downloader as well. Got bored of the tracks so uninstalled it a while ago, then this weekend I got the urge for it again. Unfortunately, those error messages and the download that takes 9 months, got the better of me. Just have to wait for GT5 instead.

Turn the Media Server off on the Network Settings menu, there's a clash between this and the GT5 Prologue updater.

Worked fine for me after a million failed attempts with it turned on.

I looked last night quickly after seeing this thread and could not see an update on PSN or in the game. Looked on some GT forums and no talk at all of updates either?

I just got my PS3 online for the first time last Friday.
Loads of various games updated themselves including GT5p.

Now I can't access the tuning that I had previously unlocked by completing Class A races!

Anyone know if there is a fix for this? moan

Tuning is locked for time trials if that helps

That does help!

(But I was sure I got to tune my Amuse S2000 for time trials before the update confused)

ETA: why are we driving an Elise S1 (tuned) at Norwood time trial then?????

You can tune your car in Drift mode, but it's never been in TT.

It's not a tuned elise in the sense of, you tune it, it's one of the pre tuned GT concept carssmile

Ahh....must have drifted into drift mode by mistake then (you see what I did there wink )

Which dealer does one buy the tuned Elise from then!!??
(more bloomin' expense...my credit is low!)

No problem at all. It seems to be a common issue, I wonder how many have just given up!
