Hi everyone my names jamie and i've just signed up today. Thought i'd post a few pics of my peugeot 306 that i took yesterday morning. This is my first attempt at taking photos and i don't think they came out too bad. Opinions welcome.

just out of silsden, w.yorks. not the greatest driving roads around here but some pretty decent back drops.

wavey Welcome to the madhouse!

Lovely car, used to have one myself, it was black though, so therefore somewhat faster wink

Is that a Scorpion back-box I spy there?

cheers mate. theres not a chance in hell even a gram of fibreglass is going on that car! i will spend money on making it go faster, but first i'm going to upgrade the suspension and brakes, then perhaps uprated cams, throtts, standalone... something along those lines.

haha if you say so! you know i don't actually know what back box it is. had a look underneath but theres nothing to suggest what make it is. will most probably be replacing it at some point soon, possibly magnex or longlife.

Suspension is a gd first choice, i think breaks should be ok with new discs and better pads. As for the engine, ever thought about supercharging it? you can get kits second hand for a reasonable amount, and itll get you atleast the same power as a fully race prepped throttle bodie job, and cost ALOT less.

Ive seen a 106 with a rather nice 6 speed sequental box in it, absolutly flew, duno if its the same drivetrain etc as a 306, i dont know my french bread that well wink

Btw i live near harrogate, could always organise a meet sometime with other ph'ers

my plan was to upgrade the brakes with 406 brembos and xantia v6 discs, but i think i will need 16" wheels for this and i like the standard cyclones... so maybe some wilwood 4 pots and standard discs? I'd love to supercharge it, a garage called lynx power engineering were doing low boost charger conversion (250/260bhp) for around the 4k mark or a high boost (350+bhp) for about 7k, however not sure if the kits are still available. Throtts are expensive for the power gains, i'd probably see 200/220 with a set of cams and a remap to go with them... but the noise would be worth it!! I've also considered some r1 bike carbs, however these can be a bit of a pig to set up right, and are high maintenance. I'm also not sure if they'd pass emission tests with the overfuelling and all?

Near harrogate you say? I live in skipton, so not far. I'm always up for a meet, would be nice to see what other ph'ers round here drive!

Well im actually in Pateley Bridge, but its not too far away tongue out I drive a car with no cams, or valves, and it still sounds mental at full chat wink

AA route planner says 44 mins to skipton from my house, so probably 10 mins max biggrin

Could arrange something, and see if any other locals wana join us?
