I don't find him funny, but I find people taking the piss out of him very funny.

But if a comedian takes the piss out of someone, it's going to be funny isn't it? So what does Karl bring to the table?

I find him amazing, basically for that reason. Is he a complete idiot or actually quite clever and has found a good niche character?

The group dynamic of the three of them on the RG show is brilliant either way.

After seeing him on the Culture Show a while back I'd just class him as a very chilled out, down to earth guy.

I've not read his books though, but love the pod casts - I can listen to them time and time again when I'm working.
