I like the way they are discussing the nasty carbon emissions while showing lots of footage of 'smoke' billowing out of the chimneys...
Unfortunatly thats just a load of hot water coming out of those cooling towers

Government have got some bks talking about the importance of CCS. We had the lead in this technology and gave it away last year.

As I remember didn't the government refuse to invest in a "Yorkshire Forward" Carbon Capture project...I think would have collected the CO2 from the Yorkshire coal powered stations and transferred it to the empty offshore oil/gas fields...

I always wonder what will happen in a million years if you start taking the carbon out of the system with these Carbon Capture things. Surely you'll end up in a worse position with all Carbon in the state of being Carbon Dioxide, not having had the chance to turn back into fossil fuels?

I don't get warm pee anymore over crap like this. They'll be toast (not literally) soon enough.... credit crunch gives us much more interesting stuff to worry about.
