What a fantastic day! 
I spent much of the morning giggling like a fool at the frequent site of TVRs in every direction we looked.
Whitehall was full of TVRs, Rotherhithe was as loud as I have ever heard it, and the tourists in Parliament Square were more interested in us than the surrounding architecture.
In the face of a closed Blackwall tunnel, road closures due to accidents, fragmented convoys and what was forecast to be absolutely miserable weather, the turnout was unbelievable. It is the people and the cars, as well as the numbers that make these days special for me. It was lovely to see so many new faces, as well as many of the regulars.
IMHO this was the best TiTT yet…
I would like to express my personal thanks to:
• TVRJock – for getting my reluctant car started yesterday morning at 04:00
• Tuscan Rat – for liaising with several police forces
• The regional convoy organisers, for getting people in to London, via various circuitous routes
• The BiB on Whitehall for their patience
• The Ace café for parking us and feeding us well
… and to everyone who turned out,
THANK YOU.
