Dried paint out of a carpet???

HELP!!!

Any ideas on how to get dried paint out of a carpet?

Its a white silk emulsion out of a blue carpet if it makes any difference?!

ETA - Not a massive tin spillage just where it has soaked through the dust sheets and marked the carpet....

Try dampening with warm water - Leave to soak for thirty minutes, then use a blunt knife to gently scrape away the emulsion. Good luck.

Worked for me. Use a fine grain rather than a coarse grain and don't scrub too hard of course...
