fast yes, interesting no.
would you care to exspand on that cheeseliceking??the work involved in getting an EVO to do the 1/4 mile in those times is massive! also the R+D and setup must have taken ages.
then there are the little differences to the way thius evo have been built compears to the very fast Evos built in the UK and US. most of them stick to a conventional front end where as the guys from Oz and srounding areas are using spaceframed font ends.
then there is the driveterain. how the helldo they get the car to go that fast with over 900bhp at the wheels and keep the gearbox together?? Norris Designs SWB Evo 9 had problems even with full race (read stupidly exspencive) gearboxes. he has now switched to a north south engine configuration using a Skyline running gear.
this isn;t intresting, its filiping amazing!

Slow compared to a 4 second fuel pass, but let's be serious here, this is a 4 pot SWB 4 door saloon.. It's fast!

My apologise for my poor English ! It sounded right when I typed it. I am a huge fan of drag racing and have been since the early 70's, I have been TO drag racing , but never competed. And trying not to belittle this guys achievment, that is a quick time for a 4 pot SWB 4 door saloon but as a spectacle or achievment I personally do not find it "exciting ". Fini. What do you race btw?
