Yep........... It's a handfull, but if i'd wanted a car that wasn't a challenge, then I'd have bought a BMW.
Six months into Tuscan Ownership, and still loving it. Every morning I look out of the window, and if it's dry then I'm out........... In the Tuscan.
Ok, so it's not perfect, it's extreme, a challenge, and enthusiasts car, that needs constant care and attention.............. But go for a drive, and ohhhhhh, it's so worth it all.

Couldn't agree more. Bought a Tuscan a year ago after owning a Impreza STI as I wanted something with character. Boy did I get it. Twitchy, noisy and ohhhhhhhhhhhh so much fun.Mine is off to Dulfords this week for a upgrade and I cant wait to get it back.Six months into Tuscan Ownership, and still loving it. I had that car for a week when mine was in TVR for paintwork. It certainly ran very well and handled well, it wasn't meant to be an 'S' but Heath/Paul had it set up well. In fact it was that car convinced me to put 225 tyres on the front 'cos that's what it had on when I borrowed it.
Did piss water through the roof though (missing rubber bungs, so you could see daylight).

Yes it was was a 1.24 ,I belive it has Ohlins suspension as well. Ohlins were fitted to that car as a test, but only stayed on for 2 weeks but he can't remember if they were on for Top Gear or not. After the 2 weeks Bilsteins were put back on.
He did admit they put it on a rolling road before top gear and got it tuned to the best performance they could achieve.

Amazing isn't that the TVR looked quicker and tidier around the 'hammerhead' to me than the Wiesemann but Clarkson s

That was due to the cock Jason Plato not wanting to believe that the TVR was faster than his belovid Boxter as so ended up shagging the clutch in an attempt to get a better 0-60 time. After that all my respect for that guy went out of the window.
the Tuscan did the lap in 124.8 even now 6 series later its still in the top 40 fastest. Everything above it with one or two exceptions is definitely in the exotica category....
lets face it the TG team are scathing about most things they drive......the magazine write ups often give a poles apart view. Its good telly.
