Im going to service my 530d, 2000 model

First of all, what site would everybody recommend for the parts

and is there a servicing guide anywhere?

Any help much appreciated

Just take it to the dealer, it's hardly expensive and means you wont utterly ruin whatever value it has left and then wonder how to reset the lights afterwards.

Go to www.bmwland.com (or co.uk) for all the info you need. Also check out www.realoem.com for any workshop manual type exploded view diagrams you may want. The lights can be reset using a paper clip accross a couple of daignostic terminals - can't remember which now but a search on bmwland will get you the answer
