Battery replacement m400.

Could anyone advise me on the type, type code, or brand of battery needed for a m400 as i would like to get anew one befor i take the old one out.Thank's.

IIRC, type 075. Sealed for life is obviously preferable.

May aswell jump on this topic as it crossed my mind the other day, after reading the racecar engineering article on the noble aerodynamics, would it not help improve the front/rear balance of the car shifting it up front and running the wires up the tunnel?

Jools had a conversion where a full (I think) sized battery sat behind the passenger seat.

no sure there is any real space up front, i think best place is behind the drivers seat in a nice box.

Just pop the battery behind the driver's seat and run a couple of jump leads though the window and connect them to the battery leads. Job's a carrot.

The left/right balance of the Nobles that I've had up on my corner weighing scales has been so good that I'm not sure if relocating the battery (or even going to a smaller, lighter one) is a good idea. Before you go to the trouble of relocating the battery, you might want to get your car up on a set of scales and do a little experimenting.

...of course, I've only weighed left-hand drive Nobles, so YMMV...

As Adrian said, I have moved mine to behind the drivers seat ( also changed it to an optima red top)
Makes life a lot easier if I need to access it or charge/jump etc. Also makes adding any eletrical items to the car simple.
