I have the GII, easy to cut with good scissors. will hold its form much better than the lite.
With it under the box and inside the IC box ( with a slight air gap) after a heavy run you can still touch the IC and not burn it.
Are you getting it direct? Dont buy it from Demon tweeks. twice the price.

To buy it direct it is a minimum order of 10 sheets so approx 1k.
Merlin Motorsports sell it in part sheet size but not big enough for my requirements so although a rip off Demon Thieves might be the only solution ?

Hi I've ordered 2x 1200mm x 615mm.
Im now wondering which is the best width heatwrap and metal ties to order ?

It isn't sticky backed but can be glued,screwed, rivited etc !
Didn't see a kit ? will have a look now !

prepare to itch a bit and for it to stink for a couple of days after. tie wrap lenght is easy to work out, measure circumference of your pipe and add a bit for the thickness of the band.

i used 2" wide wrap. cut it into strips and wet it in a bucket of water before putting on.

When you say cut it into strips is that in relation to length or the 2" width ?
Did you wrap the boxes as well ? I have the Roush system btw.

For the exhaust wrap, you will need twice what you think,on 2.5inch exhaust you need 8 foot of 2" wide wrap per foot of exhaust ( allowing for overlap 50%), add in the cats.. I used about 60 feet IIRC
Tie wraps..stainless steel http://www.screwfix.com/prods/20645/Electrical/Cab... bargin at £10 for 50.
I would say don’t bother with the siliencers, If you have cats in, I would make sure these are very well wrapped.
As said soak in water first, as it makes it a bit easier to work and shrinks a bit when dry to help it stay neat and tight.
Another useful tip is to use a exhaust U clamp when you start as this is a lot easier then getting the first tie wrap on.
Also to note is when you cut of the ends of the tie wrap, they turn into mini razor blades, so worth spending the time and folding them over.
One last thing, if you ask nicely I believe PeterGUK has a special tool for getting the tie wraps very tight , as it is very hard using a pair of pliers.
