Hi Jonty,
What do you want it for?
Mine is looking a bit sorry for itself back at my parents house (off the road). Hasn't run for a while, but shouldn't take much to get it going.
Hey Chris, long time no hear. What do you want it for?

Its for a mate who is looking at getting one. Not got much to spend though. Needs to be a runner thougth. You not tried turning it over for a while?
Doesn't matter too much about superficial stuff. Just A-B initially and can sort things like that out afterwards.

Keep meaning to recomission it, but it'd have to be sold either way as I can't really justify an extra car hanging around. I'd be quite sad to let it go, but I can't see me driving it day-to-day again. Given it was my first car (and needs a little TLC) a good home would be far more important than the price.
It's in Devon (bit of a trek from your part of the world IIRC), but I'll be down there for Christmas in a few weeks if you wanted a more detailed report. Before that I could always get my dad to suss it out if it sounded like a possibility.
Had a look at the car over Christmas and took a few photos, so it'll be going up for sale 'as is' shortly. If that fails I'll take a week off over the spring to MOT it and smarten it up before selling as a going concern.
The car starts very easily and runs beautifully. Clutch brakes and gearbox all work as they did before it was layed up - as do all the other mechanical bits as far as I could tell in the confines of a farmyard. Cosmetics could do with a bit of tidying and a few electrical gremlins have crept in, but I think it's mostly minor jobs to MOT it.
