after a bit of advice. this is an interesting one! Basically, i have been made redundant as of the end of this month. My director, (the one responsible) is a straight talking guy, and will tell you exactly what he thinks. I have been told i will be getting my pay and any monies owed to me by cheque on my last day. Now i have am 80% sure that he is going to try and dock some of this money from me, and try and tuck me up (holiday money, bonus etc) becaus ehe has done it before to people and he's the sort of person who doesn't care about p*ssing people off and this company is EXTREMELY tight like that.
Now the interesting bit. Unknown to him, I can remotely access his work e-mail account, and i have found out that he is having an affair!!! he is married with kids, but is having a full blown affair with a woman from another office. they have been sending each other rude pictures and dirty messages, meeting up, pretending to be going out on business and going to hotels etc. So much evidence. Now my dilemma, When he calls me into his office on my last day to give me my cheque, if he f*cks me over, what do i say? do i mention the fact i have it all printed off, with loads of evidence and that i will forward it to his wife if he doesn't pay me all my money, or is that unwise? what would you guys do or say if it came to that? opinions...]

Well if he does try and get one over on you then I would fight it through the proper channels. If you can still access his account can you not forward these emails to his wife (she should have an email address you can find)! or the rest of the office from his computer.
Blackmail is probably not the best option.

Oh and if you do send on the emails after he tries to get one over do it from an internet cafe or somewhere else (not your own home) I am sure if needed the IT bods could trace where it was accessed from.
we don't have an It department! relatively small company. But yeah i wouldn't do it from home anyway.Also, to answer someone elses question, if he asked for proof i wouldn't show him any. It'd worry him eough to believe me. my main question really is if he does try a tuck me up, should i mention it there and then in the hope he pays me in full to shut me up, or do i just accept it and get my revenge?
You've blatently misused the power given to you in regards to accessing confidential information. If I knew who you were, I would never employ you.
I was to do anything like that, I'd never work in my field again. You are also setting yourself up for a major fall legally if they decide to pursue it.
