Finally a fuel reading!!

Replaced the fuel gauge sender unit on Saturday. QUite and easy job even in my tiny drive way, actually took longer to back the car into the drive than fit the unit. Except the nice person who replaced the last sender unit, b
ed the lock ring metal on the tank so I had to re form the metal to ensure a good fit. I reckon it's ok, and I now know roughly how much fuel I have.

No didn't manage to take any pics, but I can do, as I still have the old one in my too box, along with the lock ring and seal. Can also give a detailed explanation of how to do it. All I have to do is take the wheel off to get detailed pics of new install before it gets covered in dirt.
