Well ! Where is it ? I got up this morning and had to scrape water off my car. Nothing but rain. And more rain.

I know. It took 20mins to get up my driveway, thanks to slush formed from the rain and ice from yesterday, and from then onwards, slush, rain, rain, slush, flood, rain. Disappointing.

It was in North Yorkshire this morning about 2" on my car . . as soon as i drove into South Yorkshire there was none

I woke up this morning and couldn't get my car off the drive, or get down it myself for 2 hours. The entire area was caped in 7+ inches of snow; 5mph stop-start traffic on the bypass to work, and when I came off the sliproad half-way to take the normal roads, I had to turn back because an 18 wheeler had skidded across both sides of the road and been abandonned by its driver.

I'm in the Northwest. I listen to BBC radio lancs in my car because my aerial is fecked and that's the best reception from home in Merseyside to Work in Skem.

100 plus schools closures and they read every single one out rather than saying - log onto our website.

In Appleby, Cumbria, we had about 3 inches of snow this morning, 40 miles north in Carlisle there was none at all.

Bloody global warming.

It started snowing in Burnopfield at about bang on 4am as predicted by that idiot Bob Johnson and hasn't stopped since. Had to dig the wifes car out so she could get to work.

Luckily I was one of the first victims of the credit crunch (ex-Northern Rock) so I'm going nowhere!

Shocking isn't it? This time 2 years ago we didn't have one closure when I was at college; shame I'm the only one coming from my direction at work.

I come from a very low part of the area that's very windy, snowy etc... They all come from towns and cities in the other direction

Well, we live dead centre of the severe weather warning posted for England yesterday and the snow is absolutely...

None existant. Not a flake, let alone any on the ground. Still, not particularly amazing as we haven't had any real snow for 10 years

WHAT A LOAD OF ****. I woke up this morning, 5am got out at 6am. I have the de icer and scraper in my hand and i look at the windscreen and i can see the front seats. Are the weather people in this conutry idiots. Give up. If the BBC can't give you accurate weather online on the same day at the same time when you look out the window. Best case. BBC news "Its cloudy with a small chance of showers" I look outside and i see sunshine. Cold but still a big fireball in the sky with no clouds.

GIVE UP WEATHER PEOPLE. YOU CAN'T PRODICT THE WEATHER!
