With my ongoing lack of boost saga a new boost control valve was fitted but made no difference. There is the right voltage getting to it. The dealer is now stumped and has said that they need to first check the resistance of the wire(?) and if it's not that then my ECU could be faulty and should be sent to the factory to be tested.
Does this sound plausible?
Is it easy to get to the ecu to try another run of wire?
If i got my hands on a new/borrowed (anyone got a spare?) ecu would it be easy to swap?
I'm hoping that once this is sorted i'll actually get to enjoying my car!

depends which ecu it is .what model is your car.the ecu is easy to get at .its in the front of the rear wheel drivers side .lift clam ,lift car ,take wheel off, undo many self tapers ,lift out inner wheel mud guard and you will see it sat on the chassis
2004 3Rso it's basically in the same place as the fuel pump albeit on the drivers side?
if so thanks
