Personally I find him boring and predictable in Top gear......past his sell by date.

However I have seen him in a couple of serious documentaries and he was excellent.

I'm surprised and impressed that he is a 'birder'. When asked if he was a secret environmentalist by the ttty bloke, he answered, "The world is big enough to look after itself". Good answer!
