I almost never use a mobile at all, but in the days when you could use one in your car without having your nuts chopped off and hung on a rusty fence, (1) I waited until there were no hazards about (2) I instinctively drove more slowly. That gave me more time to react to anything that did crop up. It's just a question of using your brain, but I guess there will still be people who drive at 90mph in fog whilst texting...

Yep, exactly the same as me. Hmmmm, seems strange that a few of us are scoring the same. 
I would however argue the point that had I not been trying to count T-shirts I probably would have noticed a fecking great rabbit stood in the middle of the road waving at me...
26 out of 27 missed 8 questions but was too busy looking for and counting T shirts to notice the grey rabbit.
WTF? how is that a reasonable test?
If I am approaching a juntion I usually tell the caller to hold on while I try to get out of the junction. and continue the conversation when on the way again.
I do not recall ever trying to have a conversation and count red and yellow t shirts while keeping score.

The space bar/questions portion obviously doesn't work, as we all missed 8. I went through it a second time and only listened to the woman yammering and ignored everything else, methodically pressing the space bar after every questions - it still told me I missed 8.
So I answered all the questions, counted 28 of 27 t-shirt points, and missed the grey rabbit amongst all the grey t-shirts that weren't worth paying attention to.
All that said, I do agree that talking on the phone at all while driving impacts your driving skills. But that was a stupid test. It is just like the commercial where the guy pulls out in front of the motorcyclist. If you pay attention, the motorcycle is not visible in the first series of clips until it hits the car. Then they go back and make it seem like you are an unobservant idiot.

Actually, a pretty important point is most of the driving/phone problems are due to holding a phone in one hand, and the talking bit is the same as driving a nagging wife about.
