I deal with a representative of a customer at work who is a transvestite. This wouldn`t be too bad but he/she/it is the worst take on a woman I have ever seen and its hard to keep a straight face when dealing with him .Imagine if you can a competition at say Butlins or some such place where all the dads have to dress as mum and have about 10 minutes to do it in, improvising wherever possible, well they would probably make a better job of it hehe
The first time I spoke to him on the phone I said "I didn`t catch your name, Mr? : he says "its Jane ,Ive got a sore throat"
As their place is only in the next street he came round later (and fequently has since) I nearly sprayed my tea when he walked in.Now if we have to converse on the phone others in the office take the p155 by saying stuff like ,"but but Im a lady" and so on.
Anyone any similar experiences?

No, I've seen worse. I don't even know what the bloke / woman you're talking about looks like but it's inconceivable that he / she looks worse that the tranny I saw. Think Desperate Dan crossed with a yak and mixed with Judge Dredd and a mutated Mongolian lorry driver, crammed into a party dress, and you're getting there.

Feel sorry for him/her, imagine having to relearn how to dress... hopefully he/she will get the hang of it soon and people wont be able to tell.

There are more transvestites in Australia, than anywhere else in the world.

I'm crying so much with laughter it's taken me over ten minutes to type this! My face genuinely hurts. laugh
Bit like Eric Idle and Robbie Coltrane in Nuns on the Run:
"Do nuns wear make up?"
"It's our day off!"

Sounds like she is transexual rather than a transvestite.

I wouldn't make issue with her voice or laugh in front of her as you my find you'll lose a customer.

Company I used to work at had a chap who worked in one of the call centres who would dress as a man but in full make up on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday but come to work in a dress, without makeup on a Tuesday and Thursday.

Nowt queer as folk, as they say in some stereotyped northern enclave.

I visted a customer like that too - I thought her voice sounded "odd" when I rang to make the appointment.

When I got to reception and asked for her I'm certain that the receptionist sniggered.

A few minutes later a bloke with hairy legs and 5 o'clock shadow came down the stairs wearing a dress. The receptionist said "here's your visitor Carol."

Ha theres one in manchester i see quite often, It he she whatever it is has long hair which is very very thin on top with an outragouse receeding hair line, Long false stick on nails not the acrylic ones, Stiletto heels that have been walked into the ground and i always see it in the same 3piece suite and every so often you see her/him, run hand through hair as if on Herbal Essance ad but this is the nest bit 8 o'clock shadow!!!!

Now i have no problem with transwhatevers just so long as they can do it right.

A good few years back myself and four other mates were travelling south down the M6 to watch a footie game. We stopped at one of the services for our mandatory brekky and as we were in the queue in walks an unfortunate, Impeccably dressed in a scarlet suit, black stilettos and stockings. The pencil skirt was so tight it could hardly walk.
Now this was about 9am on a Saturday morning and the restaurant was packed, it was obviously returning from a night on the tiles as the 8 o'clock shadow was very prominent. All eyes were fixed to the unfortunate and other than one impish child who couldn't contain himself, and emitted the odd snigger the place was silent.
We paid for our food and then went and sat down at one of the tables. Then after a couple of minutes the 'Tranny' walked past our table, it was at this point that I had an uncontrollable urge to 'wolf whistle' I have no idea to this day why I did it...I just did, the result was the whole place burst into laughter, men, women, kids and even the staff.
The 'Tranny' stopped in its tracks, turned towards us and said 'Thanks for last night, it was wonderful, see you next Friday...Oh! and don't forget to bring the rest of my money you know how much my fee is.'
Fair play, a great comeback line.
