Thats sooooooo nice, I've just "messed" my pants.

Absolute bargain, although I dread to think what running costs / spares would do for your bank balance.

Tis very nice though. Wonder if he'll swap for a Tamora?

The S1 is a bargin and could be driven everyday perhaps . The Pantera is , well its crazy cheap and I'd love one , those tyres , 315's at the back I think ! Someone brings a red one to Ashby Folville car meet .

In the 70s my friend had a new Pantera. That was followed by a Maserati Bora, a Ferrari 308, and a 911 turbo flatnose.

We'd take turns driving each other home from the pub...which was kind of fun. hehe

I know the owner of the S and he's only selling to help his daughter buy a house, its a good car and doesn't even have a lot of miles on it considering its 20 years old.
Seats and a few trim bits maybe not to everyones taste but he's had the body off and replaced the outriggers with galv handrail tubing, so it should be good for another 20 years!

I have no doubts that it is a lovely car, and a bargain.
Good luck to him.
Someone with a bit of spare cash will be along I'm sure....deserves a good home smile

Nothing quite as cheap, 335's on the back is the norm

ok...bargain or not....from the 1st view of the car in the pistonheads advert i must say:

absolutely dirty and untidy enginebay, incl. rusty bolts etc.
non-original (and ugly) seats fitted...

chassis was not welded using jiggs or other ways to stablaize it.

suspensionwise: all the old parts have been fitted, coils have been painted (!!!) in chassis color and everything was put together using the old rusty bolts, nuts and washers...that makes not a good impression

so at the end it turns out in a chassis repair with some new paint without using this oportunity to fix also other things. (ok, maybe time was tight?)

the black one is awfull, ugly and absolutely non original...no wonder its still for sale!!

Bonham´s sold a 1981 Ferrari Mondial Coupé for 6.900 Pound!!!!

http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-auctio...

the description transfered to "private" sales would mean in good, useable condition.

so why should i buy a badly constructed and build TVR for a bit lower money when i could get a super-sports car for not much more money? (ok---running costs will be much higer)
