I just think instead of reading the blogs of some deluded and inaccurate fool and perhaps using them to start something like an argument he may be better served to read the following books and if possible doing the following course.

Jihad, the Trail of Political Islam, Gilles Kepel
The War for Muslim Minds, Gilles Kepel

Islam, International Terrorism and International Security, Birkbeck University, London

you really don't have to read them. Like any religion, the vast majority of folks are like you, and me, and aren't actually off fighting some sort of jihad, or crusade. It;s the few nutjobs, and idiots that get on the news that muddies the waters.

well, what it says no double meaning or anything sinister hidden in what I said there.
Whether one agrees with his argument or not it is best to be properly informed on the facts from quality sources and if I had PMed it just to him those that had read the blog posts and thought it factual and accurate would have not had the opportunity to find out otherwise.
