You can fit ONE Corbeau seat in, it's not wide enough for two.

I would suggest you do the driver's seat.

No other options at the moment I'm afraid, unless you include the 340R/Exige seats. But these are usually about £1000 each from Lotus.

AFAIK was/is geary at EliseParts working with a seat manufacturer to produce cheaper sports seats that will fit side-by-side in the Elise.

Bye, Arno.

Most definitely the 135 S1 had Corbeau Seats.

I am kicking myself for up until about 2/3 weeks ago I had a photo of an interior with them in place. I was considering buying it

I found the add which read -

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
1999 S reg. 29000 miles. Full Lotus Main Agent Service History. Serviced this month (had six services to date!) Limited edition, one of one fifty made. Quicksilver with navy blue hood. Cost £31,000 new compared to £22,000 for the standard model. Generally acknowledged as the best version. Factory fitted as standard uprated brakes, uprated lower suspension, wider wheels, uprated 145hp engine (designed for more torque and driveability), uprated non-cat exhaust (factory homologated so no MOT problems), close ratio gear box,

Corbeau sports seats (very comfortable),

suede alcantera sports steering wheel, interior alloy pack, alarm immobiliser. Also upgraded alarm system, tracker, top of the range Alpine Radio, CD, Speakers. 0-60mph in 4.8s and ultimate road manners... the best! Immaculate condition. £14995

Suggest you get directley in touch with one of the people on here with one to find out more. (look under the - fleet / lotus / 135/s there are 3 people listed).

If they are one of the original 50 built by Lotus they all were fitted as standard with corbeau seats!

However as Bonce has stated that only one will fit (and he’s usually right) they could well be a non standard size).

So you may want to look at one of the kit car suppliers such as Europa who are good at fitting a seat to a space (they are also dealers for corbeau seats and a load of other goodies).

Mister Kevlar. I have a S1 135 Sport with cloth Cobreau seats. I think they may be standard s1 seats which were trimmed by Cobreau. What makes them so comfortable is that they have detachable padding (velcro) so I think it may be thicker. I am affraid I don't have any decent pics of the seats in situ but could arrange that easily enough. Let me know if you would like to see them and I'll send you some pics.

Reverie have a new seat available at £299 + VAT - well I think it's plus vat - might be a little more affordable. Definitely not going to be too comfortable though

I may have a solution to this. I have TWO Corbeau race seats fitted to my Exige. And as someone else has correctly said, "they do not fit side by side". In my car, the passenger seat is about an inch further forward, and is also tilted further forward, compared to the drivers seat, allowing two seats to be fitted.

It has the slight disadvantage in that the passenger and driver are sat very close to one another, with the passenger looking down on the driver. But if you don't mind that then it may be your only option.

Hello, could please tell me the model of corbeau seats you have/had fitted to your exige( S1 I presume), will a tapered pro series in standard width fit?
