Not good, still ice on circuit at 1.15pm ish when I left.

Little action on the track as pace car out all the time limiting speed of the cars, not that I would want to travel that quickly in those slippy conditions....

First track day i've been on where the pit lane is sheet ice smile . Actually turned into a good day after a v slow morning.(i was in yellow Elise) Saw C203's Noble going untill the end, which came a little sooner than advertised which was some what annoying after losing the morning..What happened there BAT ??
Only saw one damaged car, a race preped Capri. Hope it turned out to be better than it looked.

We were there in the E30. Cleared off after they opened the track it was just too slippy.
That and we split a fuel line so ended up being recovered.

Was certainly interesting on the ice. I even managed to spin it on the pit straight, which I am laying the blame at the lack of LSD, nothing to do at all with the fact I was deliberately provoking it.

was good fun after the pace car went in. tried to stay out as much as possible to make up for the lost morning. i was a bit dissapointed they didn't run a bit longer at the end of the day as well, still to get any running after how it looked first thing was a bonus

It was a little frustrating that the chequered flag went out at quarter to four. However, there is a solid argument from race control to support that decision. If there's an accident at 15:55 which needs medical attention or even just recovery, the medics and marshals need daylight in order to carry the job out properly.

The light did also fade very quickly after that!

I'm glad everyone was patient and very little damage sustained despite a horrendously slippy circuit. I'm working on Donington to give us some kind of goodwill credit for a future day - when I have more news i'll send an email to all drivers and let them know the result.

Enjoyed the day overall notwithstanding the morning written off. In the afternoon I thought the racing line was pretty much OK all the way round..

A partial credit would be nice though Jonny.

Very tricky morning and was right to hold on to after lunch for open pit lane. Everyone out here was very courtious and most of the back of the circuit apart from back straights were frost free.

Nice Spin fieldl although my driver was concerned when you started driving the wrong way down the grass eek

Jonny and the team done a great day just keeping the day on the road.

Conleth,
I was going to pop up to see your noble as I was the previous owner before yourself but the weather being what it was I wasn"t sure that you would go.
Glad you had a good day though, awesome car isn"t it.
Regards
Tony.

Nice one, didnt think Donni would consider themselves responsible for the weather but a nice cheap day in June or July would do nicely wink. (GP circuit of course) . Dave.

I don't think they'll run to that but i'm off there next week to discuss 2009 dates so i'll try and nail something down for Feb/March.

Personally I'd take the National over the GP circuit any day of the week.
