Nasty secret santa- Revenge ideas?
Discussion
A friend of mine is taking part in the secret santa at her work.
Unfortunately she has been given the office tosser for her santa. She has already bought a nice gift for him but since then has heard that he has made it "his duty" to "make my receiver so upset they'll want to leave the party early and just piss off home". The person organising it has heard and so has given her fair warning about this.
Now she's not sure what to do. Be the bigger "man" and give him the lovely gift and just chuck the one he gives straight in the bin without opening it, or give the nice gift to someone in her family and get her own back.
Suggestions so far have included giving him an empty box, giving him the present back without opening it and merely swapping the gift tag, giving him a huge amount of deodorant and telling him to take a hint (even if he doesn't smell it should make him paranoid), but the community is mostly women and while we're b
hy we just can't think of something proper.
Also, anyone got some insight in to this pathetic little man's state of mind? I'm sure there's a lot of PHers that hate the office secret santa (I know there's a fair few that don't like Christmas), but personally I would have far more respect for someone that just said "sorry but I don't want to take part this year", rather than someone that went out of their way to ruin the evening for someone they work with.

As for oblique.....
One of my friend's from my old work "Bad Chat" had a fantastic line in rude gags that went on for ages.
The punchline of my favourite involved an old lady who kept cox in a kettle.
So, of course, for his leaving gift I buy a quite expensive old skool kettle and a large chocolate male appendage from Ann Summers to put in the kettle.
The joke was on me, though, at the presentation where Bad Chat acted totally bemused at the gift and all the secretaries cursed me and thought I was a nutter for spending their money on that.
Oh, and we had some money left over so bought him a cane with a compass in the handle.
As for the OP, how about buying him a massive strap on?

We had one of those a few years back. He was told in no uncertain terms that he was a prick and that he wasn't welcome anymore. He left a few weeks later, good riddence. A practical joke is one thing, deliberately being offensive to people for no reason is beneath contempt.Rach* said:

butt plug etc from ann summers
I'm sending the office nutter a butt plug...she caught her boyfriend having a tug with his finger up his arse, then came into work and quizzed everyone about whether it was normal

Can't help thinking that to respond in kind is just to stoop to his pathetic level.
It could backfire in his face anyway, if he is given a nice gift, and hands out something stupid in return, exposing him as the little prick that he clearly is.
I would suggest that your friend accepts his 'gift' in good grace, and not get upset/annoyed about it publicly, since that will make him look an even bigger idiot.
Hopefully it'll be infront of some senior management anyway, who, if they've any decency, will give him a slap.
Save the revenge for another day. It is, as they say, a dish best served cold.

get proper revenge, as in make sure everyone else knows what he intends to do beforehand (but not too much beforehand, so he won't get tipped off) , so you leak the story and you'll already have everyone on your side, which means you wont feel any embarassment, and to top it all make sure they're all prepared to instantly own up and say "thats completely just wrong, and id like to state now that that wasnt me", "me either" "not me" and so on and he gets singled out proper. then he can be made feel like s
t for the night, and probaly longer.
you can make it backfire even harder by arranging to have it switched with someone else who he likes in the office with their permission, who can act awfully offended
