Tamora Sports exhaust - Tech question

Having been to TITT3 the other weekend I have decided that I need to change the rear box on my Tam for something a little more meaty complete with pops & bangs etc…

My question is, is there technically any difference (benefit) between a single piece rear box such as the JP version (I think) or say Powers offering which is a 2 piece system?

Also I was going to fit it myself, looks pretty easy…… splitter off (about 6 bolts) drop box off hangers, undo clamps & tug!

I have taken off the original and put on a sports one a few times and have never needed to take the splitter off.

JP's exhaust has separate pipes running inside the rear box - the big shiny bit is there to keep it mounted on the hangers properly.

Haven't got one on my Tamora, but keep meaning to try one. I'm sure it'll be much easier to fit than swapping my decats back to cats for every MoT (which was my pain-in-the-arse job last week).

I was informed by the factory, that In terms of power, the standard exhaust offers the most, apparently they tried them all on their rolling road, so you are really upgrading for noise, which isn't such a bad thing, they sound awsome. I had a TVR power supersports on my Tam, sounded like a Lancaster bomber. Also had the JP on my T350, was loud, but more civilised than the Tam.

What about the Blue Flame chaps, is that one to be considered ?
I have been advised the JP is that same as the TVR Power unit.

Got a JP Sport Exhaust on my Tamora. Don't know what the TVR Power one sounds like but my JP sounds like this:

Oh yes, I'm very happy with it. It brings out the small child in me.

Where was your video taken? A friend of mine, from near Swindon, said he recognised the tunnel. I'd love to try it some time

I have the BlueFlame on my Tam, it is quieter than the JP.
Pops & bangs on the over-run nicely

just out of interest, did u notice a reduction in the cabin
temp. without the 'cats' ?

No why

just a theory for reducing heat in the cabin as the CATS sit
right around the driver/passenger wells and they do 'glow'
