Tango: Thanks for posting that clip. That is my GTR with a 525 hp ls1. I have recently changed it to a Kinsler I/R injection and dry sump this got rid of some of the uneveness at the idle and brought the horse power up to 565 with 572 ft lb at the fly wheel measured on a chassis dyno using a 15% correction factor. The ford gt shown is a friends with kinsler a bundle of snakes exhaust on a 407 cu inch ford. The cars were used for the sound track on Speed racer, not a very good movie or sound track. But the boys paid us $1000 for the day. The venue was the old El Toro Air base the wind was blowing at a 90 degree angel to the runway. I hit 175 mph and the Ultima was as stable as sitting in this chair. all in all a great day
