I had the Cerb on a track day a couple of weeks back and I've noticed that the brakes aren't biting quiet as well as they did.

I reckoned at first it may have been something that broke / wore out but everything mechanically sound.

Is this normal?

I was pushing it to the absolute limit (and a wee bit beyond on one occassion) and doing long runs and the didcs were so hot that they went purple.

I have Red Stuff pads on it and they were always perfect for road use ..... 'til now.

You need a decent track day pad. Eg, Pagid, Ferodo DS, Carbone Lorraine etc etc. I had the same problem i fitted proper pads as well as bigger discs and the the difference was dramatic, proper fluid too is essential. If your pedal goes its your fluid. But if your pedal stays and your braking goes, its your pads.

Totally agree. I found that once EBCs got too hot, they never recovered and were only fit for the bin.
