Hi all

Last night I got the above error on the iDrive and now it's left two warning symbols on the dash. I've tested both front seat belts raise the warning if not plugged in with someone sitting on them - the warning sounds fine and stops once the belt is clicked in place so I think this eliminates the possibility of it being the seat sensor.

I've read on the internet that a low battery can cause the problem - anyone know if this is true as I've also seen a warning about the electric windows (but that one cleared pretty much instantly and hasn't reoccurred) so thought the flat battery might cause that too.

Obviously with such a safety critical thing I don't want to mess around for too long but thought I'd ask in case there's a simple/cheap fix before letting the dealer take my eyes out.

Cheers
Boon

This happend with mine shortly after the battery collapsed and was replaced, it was the SDK lead from the battery apparently, about 100 quid.
