Perhaps some recent builders can give me a few tips for fitting these - they are obviously bigger than the amber indicator lenses used to be, and the holes are the same size as the old lenses I reckon - they will need some fettling with the Dremel, but I am concerned that there is very little material on the edge, and I am likely to break into the void between the two "skins" of the headlight unit (if you know what I mean)

My other query is, should the plates be fitted with rivnuts - there weren't any supplied in the kit, that's why I am just checking ?

Thank you very much,
Regards

Kelvin

Hi Kelvin, I retro fitted the Hella clear lens flashers a couple of years ago. All I did was make up some alloy brackets (folded sheet) and fixed in the original holes I had already in place for the old lamps. I had two small holes that I tapped out (M5 I think) straight into the fibreglass, for each unit. You can get a secure fixing that way, as mine have never worked lose yet!
