How much wine is too much wine?

I'm just polishing off the end of bottle #2 of red wine. 1st was a nice Chilean Cab Sauv, 2nd is an Aussie Merlot.

TBH, struggling with this last glass, but frankly, if you've done a bottle and half, what's the point in keeping a glass for tomorrow?

So..... should I have stopped after the first bottle?

Depends on how much you like wine i guess. If you hate it then one glass is too much but if you find it yummy then 'too much' is probably when you cant walk up the stairs.

I just poured another glass, 2005 St Emilion. The issue for me is whether or not I have to drive tomorrow morning. As it happens, I'm on holiday...

I don't need many hours. Will be in bed by 2ish, up at 8, in work before 9.

Don't do 2 bottles on a regular basis mind.

thats normally 'for me' the last glass out of the second bottle.


got a cheap bottle of J.P Chenet chardonnay, and Im wishing I got a better bottttle or two.

but I suppose waking up lying in yer own faeces and face down in puke may be construed by some as overkill for a work-night.

I know what you mean. I never used to like Wine, now I prefer it to Beer, must be my age.

Thinking aloud (or "allowed" for the illiterates amongst us)... but that could be the argument used for justifying binge drinking? "It's ok to have 15 pints because I only do it once a fortnight!"
