I've been scouting around for a set of 16" alloys for my 156, it's currently running on steelies with some truly unimpressive trims on them. I figure if I'm going to need some new front tyres in January I might as well try and replace the wheels beforehand...

Can anyone confirm which other Alfa wheels fit the 156? (Ie 166, 147, GTV etc)

Secondly, if anyone is breaking a 156 or has a suitable set looking for a new home for a reasonable sum, my email address is always open smile

156, 147 & Gt, Spider and GTV are all the same from memory(5x98) - 166 wheels will not fit, nor will 159/Brera. You can also fit the more common 5x100 wheels (audi/vw etc) if you use wobbly bolts but I'd stick with some standard alfa jobs off ebay if I were you. 164 alloys may fit I think but lots of the earlier Alfa's are 4 studs so they won't obviously.

They are all the same PCD, but the GTV/Spider are a different offset.
Best to stick with 147/156/GT wheels ideally. There should be plenty about.

The offset difference isn't much, and I've seen 156s with GTV wheels on, but they don't look quite right (stick out too far) and it must bugger up some geometry somewhere!

Someone on Alfa owner just bought a set of 15" Alfa alloys with tyres for £1.24 on e-bay ! Personally I picked up a set of teledials with as new tyres for £100 of a fellow alfa owner member Much cheaper than just buying tyres smile
