While my 2005 535d Touring goes from strength to strength, my Siemens S65 mobile, chosen to pair and work with the car, is getting a bit shabby.

Any advice on what current phone will pair and work well with the car?

I don't know the software revision for the car (or how to check it), and would like to stick with 02 for the new phone.

Thanks in advance!

The BMW webpage will give a list of mobiles with functionality. My 2006 E60 works perfectly with my iPhone 3G (now that Apple has released v2.2) - that's what I'd suggest.

I also have a HTC S730 for work which pairs perfectly as does my wife's Nokia 6500 slide.

Thanks richterswil and gizlaroc!

I don't need the functionality of the iPhone, so will check out the Sony and selected Nokia offerings. Any stand out as offering particularly good pairing to the car?

The wifes 6500 slide is a small, neat phone which has 100% funtionality with my car. Straightforward phone that does all the basics - worth a look for you form what you've said.

HTC Touch Diamond verified as working, Nokia xxxx Classic, not sure what the numbers are, sorry.

C905 SE works too.

Not really telling you any more than has already been said, just backing it up wink
