"20 Year Old TVR"
Discussion
It's very likely it's a Wedge. You can see pictures of them at www.tvrwedgepages.co.uk (and in my profile and website
)
)Hmmmm??
I don't think I was clear enough!
I know my TVRs, but my mate doesn't! I'd know what it was to look at but I am not in a position to look at it!! so I was trying to get an Idea of what it was before i get to play with it in December!
Cheers for the help, I thought it would have been a wedge. The same Bloke also has a Dax Rush chassis on order to be mated with his range rover V8!! Well, that's the plan!

No, all those had finished by 1979. There is a possibility that it could have been a kit, I think the 1600 M was available to the late 70s so if the builder wasn't that quick . . .
It might have been 'available', but I doubt many took one on, because the good old thieving Government added VAT to kit cars in 1973 just to screw it up for us. It would have to be a dedicated chap who insisted on a TVR kit thereafter - I think they were glad to distance themselves from the kitcar image.

I think you'll find our previous editor Ralph D. has a 350i FHC 2+2. I think only about 6 were made.
And I think there were also a few 280i 2+2. (gemini ?)
Yes the Speed 8 didn't make it!
And I think the Cerbera was a DHC until a few weeks before the Motorshow.

2+2? There was a 'Speed Eight' 2+2, essentially a smoothed-off Tasmin, listed in 1990/1 but it was never made - the Griff put paid to that!
However AFAIK the only 2+2 is a Cerbera.

Oi! Less of that or I'll set her outdoors on you
Indeed there is a Wedge 2+2, though not too many, as stated earlier. Dave
