'going forward'..........

I have noticed this phrase being used quite a lot recently.

It seems to mean nothing and is just another bit of verbal crap......

Have you noticed it being used.....??

'HR' and Financial people seem to favour its use.

They will use it 'for the future' (used when going forward and its associated thrusting is not required), so 'let me be clear', about 'hard-working families'. It's all Newspeak from the Ministry of Truth

Noticed the American phrase of "go ahead" creeping into british vocabulary recently. "Ok, i'll go ahead and do that".

Really annoys me.
