hello can any one give me any idea of what i would expect to pay to insure a tamora .im 40 years old with 6 years no claims bonus but have six points .my chimaera costs me £280 a year(classic car insurance) limited mileage (5000). thanks daz

Well I'm 34 with no points (although my girlfriend has plenty, and she's on the policy) and paying £287 - no NCD necessary because it's a classic policy through Hagerty. Limited to about 1,500 miles (maybe 2k, can't remember) at the moment though.

my insurance company will not give a classic insuance unless the car is 10 yars old

With Aplan, 39 full no claims, 3 points, 05 Tam, unlimited mileage with occaisional business use, think I paid £450.

Try elephant.co.uk they where coming up with cheaper quotes but would not give me any no claims

T350t (though similar car) with A-plan, 33 years old, 5 years NCB with 1 fault claim. 7500 miles for £460. Though I did have to work hard to negotiate to this level (from £800)
MSM were cheaper but only with TVRCC discount and it'd work out more factorng in membership for something I don't want.
