How can F1 save itself? Here are some suggested alternatives:
● Stewards ordered to pull Lewis Hamilton over for no apparent reason every few laps to improve his car’s mileage, following successful trials of the scheme over the past two seasons.
● FIA President Max Mosley to limit prostitute use to four per session and rent out spanking video collection to raise funds.
● Every GP to be held in Monaco or Switzerland to cut trave l costs, as this is where the drivers live.
● Flavio Briatore’s sunbed use capped at six days a week.
●Proportion of all the power used at races provided by massive static electricity charges generated by petrol heads’ anoraks.
● Ferrari to replace Kimi Raikkonen with cardboard cut-out in effort to trim contract costs and extract more value from his media appearances.
● Singapore’s night-time GP to be staged by candlelight.
● Madcap plan to award medals made of gold, silver and bronze to drivers ditched and replaced by rounds of applause of varying volume.
● Ferrari’s motor home chef to cut back on use of Parmesan with immediate effect.
● Bernie Ecclestone’s daughters thrown out into the wide world with instructions to ‘get real jobs’.

allow tobacco and alcohol back into advertising
allow the advertisers/sponsors to have decent TV coverage ..... after all it is these companies that are putting in huge amounts of money into the sport.
It would be funny though... seeing F1 cars going round a track with "this product might kill you" written all over it.

Talking about this the other day,i'd like to see less limits.
Weight, size engine capacity after that anything goes pretty much. Make the engine size tiny say 2l or 750cc turbo.
Be interesting to see what could be done giving technology it's head. Active suspension, no rev limit.
If they were getting near 1000bhp out of 1.5 turbo's 25 years ago what could they get out of 750cc now? How high could they rev a NA 2l engine to? How many cylinders? V16 revving to 30k maybe.
This would actually benefit road cars as the technology would gradually get applied, a bit like it used to be. Actually making F1 a proving ground rather than a circus.
FFS Traction control and ABS is pretty much standard in all modern cars and active suspension increasingly common.

I'd like to see that too, I know they say the rules are mostly there to keep speeds safe and that's probably right, but we can dream.
